BSA 227 Visual Effects Composition - Week 2

In this week's class, we learned how to do tracking.

We started with a simple text track by selecting the main video and adding a 3D Camera Tracker.

We were then greeted with a tracking selection for us to select and do our tracking on.

A test we did with text.

We then started to add explosion, debris and dust effects on it.
A tracking was selected on the silver car and then the explosion was added in. A mask layer was then added to make the explosion wrap around the pillar as you can see in the picture. The mask layer was subtracted to prevent the flame from being in the mask layer rather than outside the mask layer.

A debris effect was also added, I've added a few mask onto it to prevent it from overlapping the pillar and the wall as it acts like an layer above the background.

A dust effect was later added as well but the mask layer for it was not subtracted but instead feathered and selected around the point to prevent it from being very square.
